Go for spectacular sunset beach walks on powdery white sands of unspoilt Callala Beach, it’s just heavenly. After all, Callala Beach is the longest and one of the most beautiful beaches in Jervis Bay. Perfect spot for standup paddling.
How about marlin fishing at The Tubes, squid fishing at Callala Bay or Honeymoon Bay.
Artists and creatives will love the Bundanon Trust guided tour of the Bundanon Homestead and Arthur Boyd's Art Studio located amongst picturesque scenery. Bring your picnic basket. The Shoalhaven Regional Gallery in Nowra is worth a visit, also Jervis Bay Maritime Museum & Gallery and nearby scenic walk called the Mangrove Walk.

Experience Bowen Island's eco and wildlife tours - fairy penguins have a massive colony on the island with around 10,000 penguins.
Indulge in farm to table dining from a choice of great Shoalhaven restaurants such as The Butterfactory Restaurant in nearby Pyree, Cupitt’s Restaurant in Milton, Silos Restaurant in Berry or The Gunyah Restaurant in Huskisson. Take a Jervis Bay dolphin cruise or go whale watching from May to November, it's so thrilling when the baby humpback calves arrive.
Go bike-riding along the flat pathway from Callala to Myola where you can then board the groovy Husky Ferry to Huskisson and enjoy Captain Dave's music radio hits! Check ferry open times however in low season.
Valhalla Horse riding offers trail rides through local bushland.
FlipOut in South Nowra is perfect for rainy days, little kids love it.
Hike to the summit of Pidgeon House Mountain on the Budawang Range situated in Morton National Park. The return hike takes 2-3hrs and is 5.6km. The mountain was named by Captain Cook as he sailed past in 1770.
Get your fit on and participate in the Callala Beach Marathon held each December or simply have a round of golf at the Callala 18-hole golf course. The courtesy bus is happy to do pickups and drop-offs.
